Originally from Hawaii, the two owners, Chris and Willie, grew up together. Chris’ family has a history of agriculture in Hawaii in the sugarcane industry, and Willie’s family has history in ranching in Texas. After college the boys had a dream to bring sustainable agriculture practice to the cannabis industry. They believe that Pineapple Society is not only a brand, but a lifestyle that incorporates family, farming, and eco-friendly practices. In the Hawaiian culture there is a saying “Malama ka ‘aina,” which means, “if you take care of the land, the land will take care of you.” This is the basis for our way of farming and building our company.
